Privacy Policy

The short version: we don't collect, store, or sell any personal data from visitors to FreeLinedPaper.com. The paper generator runs entirely in your browser, so we never see what you create.

1. Information we do not collect

FreeLinedPaper.com does not collect:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone)
  • The PDFs you generate or the configurations you create
  • Your IP address for tracking purposes
  • Behavioral data for advertising

2. How the generator works

The paper generator is a 100% client-side application. When you adjust the ruling, colors, or page count:

  • All computation happens in your browser using JavaScript
  • No data is sent to our servers (or any servers)
  • The PDF is generated and downloaded directly from your device
  • Your settings live only in your browser's URL (you can see them in the address bar)

3. Server logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider (the company that serves the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files) maintains standard server logs. These logs may include:

  • Your IP address (temporarily, for spam and abuse prevention)
  • The page you requested
  • Your user agent (browser, operating system)
  • The timestamp of the request

These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days, are not linked to any user profile, and are not used for advertising.

4. Cookies

FreeLinedPaper.com does not set any cookies. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and no session cookie.

5. Third-party services

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising service. The only third-party code that runs in your browser is:

  • Google Fonts - to load the Inter typeface. Google may log the request on their end, but we receive no information from them.
  • jsPDF - the open-source library that generates PDFs in your browser. It runs locally and makes no network calls.

6. Children's privacy

FreeLinedPaper.com is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because we collect no personal information, COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) compliance is automatic. We do not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

7. Your rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact us.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a material way, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days. Minor changes (typo fixes, clarifications) will be made silently.
